The Person Behind the Work
More than a job title — exploring the intersection of code, commerce, and capability.
I started my career writing PHP code, deeply immersed in software development and understanding how systems are built from the ground up. Over time, my curiosity expanded beyond how to build things to why we build them and who benefits from them. This led me into business analysis, where I learned to translate business needs into technical solutions.
From there, my path took me through sales, consulting, and customer-facing roles, helping me understand commercial pain points and how to drive revenue growth. As I grew into project delivery and general management, I focused on leading teams, managing complex operations, and ensuring that what we built actually delivered value.
Today, I lead as a technology-business professional. My approach is rooted in the belief that technology is not an end in itself, but a powerful lever to solve business problems, improve outcomes, and create commercial value. I have consistently operated at this intersection, ensuring that technical execution aligns with strategic goals.
How I Think
My perspective spans the entire lifecycle of technology initiatives. When approaching a problem, I ask a series of interconnected questions:
- · Can we build it?
- · Should we build it?
- · What should it do and who needs it?
- · How should it be architected?
- · What will it cost?
- · How does it create commercial value?
Values That Drive My Work
Customer-First Thinking
Solutions must solve real problems for the end user to create sustainable commercial value.
Evidence Over Assumptions
Decisions grounded in data and validated learning consistently outperform assumptions.
Technology as Leverage
Technology should amplify human capability and business outcomes, not exist for its own sake.
Commercial Awareness
Understanding the business model and revenue drivers is crucial for effective technical leadership.
Continuous Learning
Adapting to new paradigms and technologies is essential in a rapidly evolving landscape.
People-Centered Leadership
Building capability and creating environments where people and projects succeed.
Current Focus
My current focus is heavily centered around Artificial Intelligence, Agentic AI, and intelligent automation. However, I view this not as a career reset, but as an evolution. These capabilities layer onto my established foundation of software, business analysis, and operational leadership. I am exploring how GenAI and agentic systems can be practically integrated to provide decision support, streamline operations, and ultimately transform how organisations work and deliver value.
